Alexa Theme Two
Ignore the amorphous blob in the first panel. Here is my comic, uninked! My question is-- Should I go greyscale for the comic, or should I go for an almost manga/publication style of black and white for color? Thoughts?
Rachel Theme #2
So like my theme in a general sense is taking original characters and fitting them into certain archetypes to display a story. I'm not sure whether I want to add the frame around it or not bc some college reps said they liked it the way it is. Any thoughts?
Anna's theme project
My theme is complexity of personal identity so I tried to make the background based on how you see yourself compared to the things and people around you. I was wondering if there is anything I would be able to do with the white in the zebras to separate it more from the white paper that it is on. Also, I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how to improve and develop my background. Thanks!! :)
3-D Food Phoebe
The overall stems from bento-boxes that look like
cute animals or icons from pop-culture. I have bought and had most of the food on hand the only trouble I have right now is the "box" part.
If any one has tupper ware that somewhat shallow and rectangular (similar to the shape of a bento- box) to the that I could borrow till next week it would be much appreciated.
If not I have some ideas.

List of foods I have or plan to buy:
- Cucumber
- Beets (sliced)
- Blue corn tortilla chips
- black olives
- sliced ham
- short-grain rice (sushi rice)
- potatoes
- hard-boiled egg
- asparagus
Any food suggestions?

Is there anything I can improve?
My theme us taking 1920's fashions and redesigning them into modern street wear clothes.
Do you think I accomplished my task?
3-D food art
What do you think of my idea sketches and food inspirations?
What do you think of my idea of a predator prey theme?
Are there any other fruits/veggies that you think could be more interesting substituted instead of the fruit/veggies I have chosen?

Sydney's theme piece
Hi okay my theme is animals in unique situations doing ironic things. These are my raccoons at a masquerade. I will eventually add more color and masks. Should I layer them up more or do they look okay with the background coming through a bit? Any other suggestions?
Elizabeth Theme piece 1st
Welp my og theme was family and friends overcoming stereotypes but now that my personal mood has gotten much better I'd like to do more goofy things soooooooooooooooo with this piece i changed classic satan stereotype (big burly satyr man that likes heavy metal and fire and pain) into something softer for one it's a lovely lady with fiery hair and likes smooth jazz with icicles and icyness
So she is playing the bass but I DONT KNOW HOW TO DO THE TOP OF THE BASS AND WHAT TO DO IN BACKGROUND LIKE FLYING HEADS? OR TINY FLYING DEMONS

Theme sketches
A) My inspiration for my theme is an artist named Peter Terrin. He uses a lot of colors in his paintings and does portraits of people with different emotions.
B) My theme is the complexity of person identity.
C) I researched human emotions. I also was inspired by an artist Peter Terrin and plan to use/research acrylic techniques.
D) Do you think I will be able to create a wide variety of pieces with this theme?

THEMEAPALOOZA
So! In case you can't see, my theme is "Autobiographical Introspection through Humor" and for this project, I'm trying my hand at sequential art.
Theme???
Okay so both artists I picked for my inspiration incorporate scenes and provoke thought into the situations drawn out.
I'm not sure about the wording of my theme so like hEL P. --> human nature depicted through expressionism
Help??????
TIME FOR THEME WORK
So my theme from last year focussed on psychology and mental illness kind of things. This time I'm focusing on OCD using the Fibonacci sequence as my inspiration. I like focussing on the human form to help bring more emotion to life.
Do you guys have any other ideas for mental illness or psychology fun facts I can incorporate into my theme?

Hayley's Theme
A) I fell in love with the entire idea of the relationship between human beings and nature. I think nature can and does bring almost everyone joy and I want to take the 4 seasons and outline the little joyful moments we can get joy from them. One artist that really inspires me is Arcimboldo.
B) Figure Drawing environmental works with focus of four seasons
C) An Analysis of Realism (1)
Through Portraiture (2)
And Environmental Work (3)
D) What should I do for the painted backgrounds behind the drawn in figures? Should I use just acrylic paint and use paint brushes and a palette knife for good texture or stick to one? Is my theme focused enough but broad enough at the same time?

Sean Theme Project
Top two dresses by Elsa Shiaparelli
These two by Claire McCardell
Sorry that the inspiration pictures aren't in my sketchbook my printer has no color ink left in it.
Anyways My main theme inspiration is vintage fashions that i'm gonna try to modernize, also i love the ascetic of 1920's-1970's american fashions. I'm also going to try and incorporate bright happy colors and things that make me happy into my designs while maintaining an overall unity between all the designs.
A possible theme wording for me could maybe be: Re-imaging vintage fashions by combining ideals from past and present designers to create stylish but functional clothing for the everyday modern person.
Theme
I'm still kinda working on my theme but the idea I have right now is to retell/ modernize Chinese myths and stories through ?street art? and maybe focus on environmental issues.
So this thing is like the story of the moon goddess who has to wear a gas mask because of pollution. The city at the bottom is Shanghai. I'm debating between having her wear the hoodie or the dress? And I don't know if you can tell that she's on the moon?
My inspirations are traditional Chinese paintings, tsClaire, and a street artist called Zilda
Theme
alright friends I have an awful camera and couldn't get my hands on another so please bear with me here. My theme is animals in unique situations doing ironic things. My right side shows some inspiration by Liz climo. She does funny animal comics. And my mommy who inspired me to do this single piece cause she likes raccoons. Should I do a bunch of little tiny canvases or a single big one. It would be like my sloths for those who remember.
