A little clique, I know, but I'm using Vincent Van Gogh as my artist of inspiration. Something about the texture and background from the
Portrait of the Postman. My last two pieces had pretty simple background and I wanted to challenge myself. The patterned paper on the right side is kind of my inspiration for that. I'm just worried that my painting will turn out too similar to Van Gogh's. Do you think my composition differs from how Van Gogh works or am I too similar to his paintings?
The movement is what strikes me immediately with your piece! As much as Van Gogh was inspired through movement I definitely think you still have a distinct difference and this project will play out nicely. Maybe add more back pattern/texture to flow along with the red tulips?
