So, I was thinking of doing a full body watercolor and charcoal drawing for the self portrait. I wanted the focus to be on the flowers instead of my face, so I was planning on making my skin tone and hair greyscale, with some color tones in the dress. Thoughts? My inspiration was John Singer Sargent who was an Impressionist painter who worked with Claude Monet.
I really like your concept. I would think about what you might want to do in the background. Maybe just a dark to light fade from the top to bottom or from you out. Or maybe you could put yourself in a garden or something to tie in the flowers. I think this will look really cool!
