During the critic last Friday, someone said the the green from the tree on the left took away from my picture overall. I added light an dark blue on top of it after scraping away some of the green. I also let some of the green show through all though it may be hard to see in the picture. Do you think it helped? Or is it still overbearing?
I really like the blue over the green of the tree. I think that it works well!

ReplyDeleteI love your style, especially in the white trees! They're so cool! I think the blue works well, though you could tone it down a bit by scraping away if you want other areas to be the initial focus.

ReplyDeleteHI Rachel! I think your work with the tree definitely helped but for me it still stands out as your focal point. Could you add more dark blue and for example add more extreme highlights to the figure? Perhaps just the left side of her is lit from the backlighting? Looks awesome so far!
