Here is my accident project! My main goal and intention was to create the two very abstract and separate sides of me as a person. I tried to influence a ton of color and vibrance with the left, as i made the right more dominantly black and edgy. Let me know if you can clearly see the part I had spent extra time on and put more detail within. Also, I am wondering if there is anything I could have done with the empty space of my chest and also within the upper left hand corner of the project (if at all I need anything to fill the space). Thank you!
First, I love this which I think goes for each of your projects! I think you did really well with the contrast on each side. Maybe in the upper left you could add a little more spray paint since you want to fill it. I also think maybe on the right side you could blend out the charcoal a little more, just so the face is a little more visible. I like how you have the very vibrant wing, it pops out and catches my eye immediately. Good Job!
ReplyDeleteWow this is awesome. I love the theme behind it, and it turned out great! Personally, I don't think you need anything extra in the chest, but if it gets to bug the heck out of you, you could always think about a symbol, kind of like the wings, that represents that side of you and incorporate it on the chest somehow. Those eyes are wicked! Awesome job!
ReplyDeleteGreat use of line! I wouldn't add anything to the chest, but perhaps fade some value from the figure out in the top left corner. Other than that, I really like your style and you executed the piece really well. Super cool!
ReplyDeleteI don't think you really need anything for the background or chest as i think there's enough color variation for them to stay as they are. The piece looks well done overall. Although, in hindsight i may have only burned the page on the right half as i think it would have possibly better supported your theme.
ReplyDeleteThe style of your project is really cool! I like the splattered texture that you achieved and also the contrast between both sides works very well. Maybe you can burn the upper left corner if you're worried about the negative space. Or you could use a red-ish color that fades upwards? Anyway looks awesome.
