Hi guys! My theme is societal pressures effecting youth. The white square is a cell phone and it has a conversation between 2 4th grade girls about frivolous stuff that 4th graders shouldn't be talking about like guy issues. I was thinking of doing a pen and ink doodle design in the background of the convo. What do you think? I was also thinking of doing the whole thing in black and white except have one message be in color. Again, what do you think? Thanks!
Which kind of phone are you using as a reference? Depending on the phone it could add a little more personality to the piece. For example if the person has an iPhone it could represent conformity or have a sense of pop culture. In contrast if someone has a samsung or nokia it might represent individuality or nonconformity. I'm assuming this is an iPhone so that would also make the texts look different too. Por ejemplo if the sender's text is green that meant the sender is sending the text to a phone that is not an iPhone or there is no iMessage connection: If the sender's texts are blue they are using iMessage saying that the receiver is also using an Apple product. Last bit now. So with the color of the texts I would suggest making them a gradient scale because that would make your focal more obvious. Okay I lied this is the last part: How are you going to show that these are fourth graders?
