Okay so my oringal post us gone now so I'm reposting.
So what do guys like, what do you not like?
Is there anything I can improve?
My theme us taking 1920's fashions and redesigning them into modern street wear clothes.
Do you think I accomplished my task?
You could improve your sketches maybe by being more loose with it or give some of the models faces, honestly I think they are fine how they are.
ReplyDeleteI would do a outfit with a hat or head piece maybe because that was essential in the 1920's. Check out the movie The Great Gatsby! Lots of beautiful dresses you can get inspiration from maybe! I like the outfit with the pants most! Maybe add some shinny beads/sequence or clunky jewelry to an outfit because all that fancy jewelry was big in the 20's as well. Love it so far!(:
I absolutely love this theme and I love your sketches so far. It almost looks like a project in itself! The best way to improve sketches is to definitely just push your values as much as possible! But these are seriously awesome and I can definitely see the 20s style being evolved into modern fashion!
ReplyDeleteLove the sketches but could maybe focus more on the face. I especially like the far right one because of the texture on the pants and shading on the jacket!
