Hey guys! The intention of the second piece I have in my theme is to show the male character in my series being pulled into the dream world by a sprouted dream seed. It's a metaphor for falling asleep. I wanted to add some details to the could up above his head, but Im not entirely sure what to do there. What should I draw up there? Should I just shade? Or should I add objects to further push the surrealism meant to be in it? Thanks for the feedback!
I like the concept and the values created with what I assume is colored pencil. I think if you could implement more of those values in that upper area it would bring the whole piece together.
ReplyDeleteI really like the black and white stripes you have drawn in the background. It makes the piece cohesive and gives it a dizzy/surreal quality. There are great values in the blanket, also. I assume you already did this, but coloring the top part a grey shade could help
