Here is my project. I photographed this dog when I was in the line to go into the Empire State Building. I didn't originally think I would submit this one for a project; I just liked the dog. When I edited it, I realized that I really liked the texture of the ground and on the dog's fur. I thought it also stood out more in a dim color scheme. Do you think it needs more color, or does it look ok in the sort of black and white tone? Does the dog stand out enough?
I like the color tone! I think it definitely is making the dog stand out and I love the really dark areas! If you want to make the dog stick out more maybe you could brighten his collar.
ReplyDeleteI love the black and white-- It kind of reminds me of some kind of dark indie movie. If you want to make the dog stick out, I would brighten his fur up a little bit to contrast with the darkness of the background.
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful! I'd keep it black and white, and brighten up the fur like Alexa said. However, I don't know much about photography, but maybe sharpen the image a bit? It seems just slightly too grainy, but that may just be me. Super awesome though!
ReplyDeleteI would definitely keep it in black and white- the texture on the dogs fur is really nice. I possible, i would try to shift the composition a little, so the dog is more to the left and not dead center. Looks rad!
