Taber project - The time will pass

Hi it's Claudia!

Alrighty so basically this is based off of a poem I wrote last year when my emotional state wasn't very high. It's mostly based upon waiting and time passing and such, thus the pocket watch. I know I have yet to finish the clock face with the numbers and hands. I kind of wanted to make the hands look like limp or like they're not rally working, do you have any advice for that? And then fore texture I know I'm lacking, what kind of texture do you think I can add? Michelle said that I should use more cardboard and then squeegee a little bit to add some more interest in like the streakiness of it all. So that's basically all I have sooooo.... yeah tell me what you think!

  1. To show the hands are working, you could do that cartoon-y wiggle-y look. I think it would give it the look you want.

  2. Hi Claudia! I love the editions of red and pink it gave it more depth. Regarding the clock we also discussed.. Can it be broken into pieces falling off the board? I think any of them would work..just consider the feeling of each option and how you want to piece to feel overall. Texture wise I would push it most in the clock unless you want another area to stand out more..you could push the left corner for example..so that it goes in front of the clock. Cardboard would be a nice option to play around with..perhaps practice it in your sketchbook to see if you like it first.
