GStoute Surrealist Piece
Hey so this piece is supposed to be inspired by Dali. It features a dense forest/jungle environment with a barren wasteland in the background. A few of the main objects have yet to be painted and the trees need to have more details added. Other than that, are there any other suggestions/criticisms?

I see the Dali influence. Maybe add more light values in the front/bottom part. Looks good!
ReplyDeleteAgreed with the lights towards the front, and adding darks in the back will really give it depth. I love Dali and I'm excited to see your finished work!

ReplyDeleteI like the path your headed on. Maybe add some lights in towards the from and make it darker toward the back.
ReplyDeleteI love how you can already tell t was inspired by Dali, I thought of him right away. Just finish it! I think once you balance out your objects with your background and incorporate enough value, it'll be really cool!
ReplyDeletePerhaps consider placing cracks in the ground of the barren waste land to help exaggerate it so we can immediately tell what it is. I think overall the jungle is looking good I would suggest the foreground to have some more plant life and value to also add depth.
