This is my project (obviously). I chose to collage my background.In the top right corner is this orb thing I put in my shoe box, it's reflective which is why I'm making a mosaic with crushed up pieces of a mirror, that part isn't quite complete yet but I'm going to have several layers of it so it's more 3D. Then I'm going to paint a string onto the "I love NY" keychain.I'm also working on the box in the right corner which is a bit tricky, I think I may change the color of the box so that it pops out more against the background. I like the color of the box as it is. The background is great and so is the crushed mirror! Very creative!
ReplyDeleteThe color of the box is pretty solid. It works. But if you wanted it to pop out from the background, I would do a blue like in the NY heart, or maybe even something a bit darker. Cool ideas you got in here!

Cool idea! I especially like the rolling hills in the foreground. I think the arms could be a little longer and a little thicker, that might help with the proportions. Other than that it looks great!
ReplyDeleteLove the figure! It's a really cool, standout focal point! I say keep the box the same color, just give it as much form as you can.
ReplyDeleteI like your ideas and can wait to see them in class. Just add some more values in the key chain and brighten the box up a bit and I think it will be great! By the way I cannot get over how good your little mannequin guy looks! Great focal point!
