Hi all! My theme is based on societal pressures on youth. In this I am focusing on the pressure to win. There is a pen and ink letter of recognition written in the back. Then watercolor. I am going to add pen and ink on top of the watercolor to emphasize the trash. Do you think I should add medals hanging out of the trash bin? I also want to add "tear drops" on it going from the top down using watercolor and rubbing alcohol. I was thinking in black. What do you think? I am also planning on crumbling it and unfolding when it is done to give it a "trash" look and possibly matting it. Thoughts? Thanks!
Lily here. I would add the medals and the tear drop idea sounds cool as well. Might I suggest a bluish black for the tears? I love the watercolor that you did and I'm looking forward to seeing the completed project.
ReplyDeleteThis looks really good! I think you should go for a medal hanging out of the trash! Also, maybe finish the trashcan a little more so you can tell right away that it is a trashcan. I really love the colors!!
