Here is my project so far. It is basically an extension of last week's project, where I continue to explore photo transfers. The top image is a photo I took/edited of a macaron. I plan to transfer this photo onto the sliver of wood pictured below. Should I edit the photo further before I complete the transfer, or is the image basically done? Also, once the photo is on the wood, should I add another layer on top (maybe dry-brush around the edges to add texture?) Let me know what you think. Thanks
The picture looks awesome! I love the difference between the whoopie pies with the clarity. Looks super cool. I think you should put another layer on and kind of texture around the edges of the picture some when you transfer the photo. I like the way it looked how you did it on the last pictures.
ReplyDeleteYeah texture yeah. Photo is done. I picture some light dry brushing of gold paint. That would look cool with the brown tones. Can't wait to see it!
ReplyDeleteI have a weird attachment to macaroons because an old abridged series I voiced in so I love the subject of this. For a moment, I thought the tree bark you had was a giant macaroon. I think it's cool to transfer round, brown objects to another round, brown object. I don't think the dry-brush is necessary because of the colors in the photo and the bark, but I also think it depends how the photo transfer works out and if the edges need any touching up. Love what you have so far; can't wait to see the finished project!!
