Hey guys! This is my next theme piece, showing the little boy character (I really should give him a name. It should be ConnOR) popping through the dream cloud from the last piece and entering the dream would full of dreamlike things. I tried to push my darks to make things stand out, but where should I push them more? And do you think I should add something of the left side of the piece? It kinda feels empty to me. Thanks!
Dat background tho. Your doing a really good job of pushing your darks, add just a bit more in the rainbow road and the ground to show some distance and you'll be good I think! As for the left side I'm not really sure what you could add but I think it's alright with the dream life swirls.
ReplyDeleteAsia! This is so rad! I love all the colors and the movement. I don't think you need to add anything to the left side; I like how it's kind of asymmetrical in that the right side is where your eye goes. Great project!
ReplyDeleteHi! It looks really good! :) Push the darks wherever you want the focal point to be. Possibly the fairy dude or the castle. On of around either of them I'd shade dark. Also, I think the corner looks fine, but if its really bothering you you could try adding in a faded rainbow trail? Possibly? Great job with it. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's so cool! I'd definitely push your darks though. Make the objects that go further back have more gradient values- I think they should get darker farther back to give the composition more depth! For example, at the back of the road it could be darker, and shade darker behind the objects you want to stand out. I hope that makes sense. But truly, I think it's great overall! :)
