Here is my current theme piece. Because my theme is exploring memories with food, I attempted to capture the essence of a faded photograph by using a photo transfer technique. First I baked the cookies (they are macarons), then I took a photo, edited it in photoshop, and transferred it into wooden squares. Unfortunately, the photo quality is kind of bad, so in real life they are much brighter. The top square is in black and white, and they progressively fade to color. Should I attach these in some way? Does anyone have any ideas? I was thinking of connecting them from a chain so they would hang vertically (as pictured above). Also, do you think I need to add another layer of paint, maybe drybrushing over the scratches? Thanks.

Yes dry brush and scraping would be so sweet to give it that extra worn rustic look! Also, yum!
