Lily here~ Ugh. I think this is piece 5. Theme: Mythological Creatures with attention to detail, inspired by a significant word. Demon Cats are well known to look like sweet little creatures, and they're nearly impossible to tell apart from the real thing. However, when a bright light is shone on them, one can see two shadows on the wall. A headless body on one side, usually the left, and the head is on the right. It is said that the body will play with its victim, sort of like a cat plays with a mouse, until s/he is so terrified and paranoid that they won't leave their home. It is then that the head swoops in and consumes them. One can often find stains of blood on both the shadows and around the cat's mouth.
1) Any advice on painting cats?
2) My spotlight is weird. Help me with the stupid thing.
This looks good so far! I think for the cat it would benefit you to add darks towards its bottom and any other nook that the light doesn't reach, and add a pale yellow tint to some of the areas it does reach.
