Hey guys! This is my next theme project (I realized after I did this one I want to do one inbetween my last one and this one for smoother transition). In this picture, ConnOr walked into the cave from the scene before to kinda explore and this is where it starts to turn nightmarish. I wanna add more dream pieces before it because I feel like it jumps in too quickly to the nightmare. Anyway, Im going to put white paint on the eyes so that they really pop (also they got smeared with black crayon when I added the turpenoid) and I wanna smooth the crayon out more because the actual project has a lot of crayon lines. Okay so here are my questions. How can I make that thing in the back look more like a door? And what can I do to make the blanket pop more? I reallllly want it to stand out. Thanks for any feedback ya give me!
This looks soooo good. I love all the eyes and just the overall composition is great. Maybe you could do a white outline around the door? The eyes have white in them, so I think that might make sense in the context of the background colors. For the blanket, maybe you could add some white highlights to it if you think it needs it. But for right now, I think the blanket stands out really well. Great work!!
ReplyDeleteLiterally this is one of your best projects so far in your theme! Connor looks amazballs! As for the door maybe have a little lighter shad around or to the door to kind of create a path... And I think the blacker really pops already but you could add some more highlights of you really wanted to. Over all it looks pretty finished and outstanding!

ReplyDeleteI really like the technique you used to create this project. I think this is one of your most successful projects so far! The composition is really simple, but it works. I enjoy the eyes in the background. I think the blanket already pops, maybe you could add more transition shades in between the dark and light colors? idk it looks rad.
