This is the first piece in my set. The most common depiction of hands in art is creation and destruction, among many other meanings these are the two meanings I'm trying to work with. The picture seen above only really makes sense when its next to the second picture in the set, so bare with me please. Its supposed to be a way of telling you to take a break from creation and destruction. Do you think I should be pushing the values more? Where? Is there anything else I can improve on with it? Thanks.

Yes more values!!!!! The bends in the hands could really use a push in the darker direction!
ReplyDeleteWOW THIS IS AMAZING. If you want to push the values more inside of the arm I'd make it darker. I think what you have now is great maybe if you wanted to make the hands pop even more add white charcoal behind them, just a thought. This is great!
