My journal is about my new born puppy named Kylo. The book starts from when he was born till now with the major growth differences on each page.
1. How to make Kylo's eyes stand out more when they are closed, You can tell in person but not in picture.
2. Ideas to add on the page because it looks plain compared to the rest? I need something to fill the page more
This looks great! I think to make the eyes stand from the face when the lids are closed is to use a white outline where it's shut. If that makes sense?? And maybe play around with colors. Splat some stuff in the background keep it loose :)
Maybe use some grey tones for the shut puppy eyes? It's more subtle than black, but it will add visibility.
ReplyDeleteYou could probably just add more watercolor to the background to fill the page. I like the textures you used.
ReplyDeleteI like the colors you used and the pumpkins and stuff. Try adding highlights to his eyes to make them stand out. Looks really great.
ReplyDeleteYea, I'd add more warm tones to the background to take up the space.
