Hi okay so this is the second half of my project. The thing i'm trying to get at with this and my last project was, probably more graphic than it needed to be, giving your hands a break. Yeah. they're supposed to be hands. My first question is how in the heck are you supposed to know those things are hands? And my second question is the thing holding them is wooden. Help. Me.
There needs to be more definition between the fingers were fingers overlap. Some darks to round it out a bit will make it seem less flat and make it more hand like. Put some shadows on the wood where the hooks lie and the hands overlap. Love you.
ReplyDeleteOkay but also, this made me think. Like, I got the hands thing and how they're hanging like gloves off a hook. And I'm sitting here wondering /why/. So this is pretty awesome. I like how tightly you can paint to your subject. I envy that. Maybe some of it is my brushes and some of it is my lack of control when I try to do finer details and tighter strokes. I say keep it up! It looks awesome!!
