Okay so I changed my theme... It's now about censorship and how it effects society etc. For this project I was really inspired by the free the nipple movement: fighting for women's right to be able to be shirtless in the same places men are allowed shirtless. I thought an art piece would be really cool to express this idea. The first side is sketched obv and its like censored out but then the second is like after we've taken away the censoring then the world is more colorful etc. I want to keep the first side black and white and I have no idea what I should do for the background I was thinking of having it be the same as then other side but in different black and greys? The next side I want to charcoal around the figure to make it stand out even more. I was thinking of palette knifing a little over the back that's already there to get sharper edges in the color. Thoughts? 
I like the idea of adding the charcoal to the right side, if you do the exact background on the left just in greys then you should also add charcoal to that to unify and also make that figure stand out. I really like the colors on the right!
ReplyDeleteI would try to implement the charcoal for the background of the left figure. Im not exactly sure how well it would work on the right one however.
