Madison Theme Project 5?

So my inspiration for this project is from a Richard Avedon shoot in vogue. I'm planning to juxtapose my hyper-sexulized girls (or boys, who knows, you can't see their faces) with stretch marks made out of sparkles to make a statement about how beauty is perceived in society.   I also plan on sewing knit sweaters on them with the stitching above^ and painting the background in a light wash of lilac...
1. Is that stitch appropriate for a sweater kind of look? Plus should I use the same stitch for both sweaters (pink and yellow)
2. For the skirts I was thinking of sewing
in sequins but is that TOO much with the sparkly stretch marks and all?

Thanks!

  1. I like that stitch! If I were you I'd hold off on the sparkly stuff in the skirts until after you've finished the stretch marks, just to be sure of how it will look. Test it by placing the unattached sequins on with the stretch marks already on, than decide. I think the sequins in the skirts will look cool, though! Really awesome so far!

  2. Love this. The stitch is rad, and it definitely looks like a sweater. I don't think you need to add the sequins. It might distract from the sweaters and the glittery stretch marks. I would definitely keep the stretch marks sparkly though.
